Every morning, we make the blessing “Roka Ha’aretz Al Ha’mayim” – who makes the land on the water. Every day we should realize and be thankful for the miracle of having land. It is truly amazing that the land is not swallowed up by the water. Oceans, lakes, rivers, and bodies of water fill over two-thirds of our globe and travels at high speeds, yet, the water stops on the shore. When the ocean comes to a beach, what tells the water to stop at that point and not travel over more land? It is G-d’s will! It is so important that we remember this every day that our Sages instituted that we say a blessing over it every day.
