On Motzi Shabbos, a person should slowly recite V’hu Rachum and Barchu at the beginning of Ma’ariv. This is a very good thing because it extends Shabbos a little more (even a few seconds) and helps protect a person from harm during the coming week. Even if the shliach tzibbur davens fast, an individual can respond to Barchu slowly and gain this merit.
4. Be kind to yourself. Speaking badly even about yourself is unethical.
