מנחות מג:1

The Mishna says that you shell see them! this means that it’s a Mitzva to place them on you during the day when its day light and not during the night time when its dark.

רמבמם אומר הלכות ציצית פרק ג הלכה זח

Rambam says during the day we must wear a 4-corner garment and we must place Tzizit on them but during the night we don’t have to wear a Tzizit even if we wear a 4-corner garment, because its night time and its dark and no need to put it on according to some of our greatest Rabies.

Rambam says that if during day we ware night time clothing such as Pajama that as 4-corner we don’t need to place Tzizit on it because its not a day time clothing.

Furthermore, the mitzva of YOU SHELL SEE THEM does not mean you shell keep the Tzizit outside your pants for people to see, you don’t necessarily have to show them off! The mitzva that you should see them means! for you to wear it while its daylight and to remember why you are warring the Tzizit.

The main focus is that when you place your Tzizit on in the morning, you must treat the Tzizit very special, you can’t just put it on like putting on a Tea Shirt, A Shirt, your Pants or shows! you must look at the Tzizit and meditate to Hashem and say Thank You Hashem for giving me this wonderful mitzva of Tzizit. This mitzva will be on me all during the day and it shell protect me from any harm, while I am Learning or Working, it shell protect me from any evil G-d Forbid that I may want to engage in.

So, when we put them on! We shall see them, to remember that Hashem runs the world, He supervise every little detail.

Shalomo Ha’Melach said there is nothing new under the son and that is so true we learn that from the Mitzva of Tzizit.

Hashem tells us to put a blue fringe on it! Why the blue? Because when we put on the Zizit, its purpose is also to immediately connect us to Hashem just like a Bluetooth Connection that connect electronic devises to work wireless.

Please consult with your Rabbi if this Halacha may apply to you, since there are different customs among Beni Israel such as: אשכנזיםספרדים וחסידים

Tzizt: Why Blue? Numbers Chapter 15:38 בְּמִדְבַּר

Talmud – Mas. Sotah 17a

Raba expounded: As a reward for our father Abraham having said: I will not take a thread nor a shoelatchet,24 his descendants were worthy to receive two commandments, viz.,the thread of blue25 and the thong of the phylacteries. It is right in the case of the thong of the phylacteries, for it is written: And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord,26 and it has been taught: R. Eliezer the Elder says: This refers to the phylactery worn upon the head;27 but what is [the advantage to him who performs the law] of the thread of blue? – It has been taught: R. Meir used to say: Why is blue specified from all the varieties of colours? Because blue resembles [the colour of] the sea, and the sea resembles [the colour of] heaven, and heaven resembles [the colour of] the Throne of Glory, as it is said: And they saw the God of Israel and there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and as it were the very heaven for clearness,28 and it is written: The likeness of a throne as the appearance of a sapphire stone.29

If the allotment attention is that the purpose of the blue is to remind us of כסא הכבוד  Kisa Hackavod G-ds Holy Troun why not simply say that blue is similar to Kisa Hakavod? Why do we need the roundabout  manner susch as the sea, the skys and Kish Hakavod why do we need the middle man why could it just say that blue reminds us of  Kisa Hakavod?

So what is the message that our sages want to tell us? and how does looking at the Tzizit remind us of Hasham mitzvot ?

Our sage answer that the sea does not do anything on its own the sea only does what it is commended by G-d and it does it out of fear: Jeremiah Chapter 5:22

22 Fear ye not Me? saith the LORD; will ye not tremble at My presence? who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, an everlasting ordinance, which it cannot pass; and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it.

The sea does everything G-d commandment out of fear. It does exactly what it is told to do and we can learn from the sea to do what G-d is asking of us no more and no less. The sea does it out of fear out of trepidation! and that should be us serve G-d without any question and do it out of fear just like the sea. However we can reach even higher and serve G-d not only out of fear but also out of love a love for G-d.  And that’s what the heavens do they too do not serve G-d out of fear from Hasham but they do it out of LOVE with Joy .

סדר קידוש לבנה ☽ Kiddush Levanah: Sanctification of the Moon

Just like the sea serves Hashem out of fear and does everything Hashem commends the sea to do and just like the skies serves hashem with love and does everything Hahsem ask it to do so should we, we should learn from the Sea & the Skies to serve Hahsem with fear & with love

And this is the lesson of looking at the Tzizit to remind us to start serving G-d out of fear and work our way up to serving G-d out of love, knowing that the allotment result will bring the Messiah, the third holy temple and the resurrection.

The Sages taught in a baraita: Everyone is obligated in the mitzva of ritual fringes, including priests, Levites, Israelites, converts, women, and Canaanite slaves. Rabbi Shimon deems women exempt, because the mitzva of ritual fringes is a positive, time-bound mitzva, and women are exempt from every positive, time-bound mitzva.
