Sefer Ha’mitzvos Ha’Katzar (The concise book of mitzvos) By the Chofetz Chaim
This book lists the Torah mitzvos that can be observed today
First Section – the Positive Commandments
61. It is a positive commandment to love a convert
As it states in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 10:19, “You shall love the convert.” This commandment is in addition to “Love your neighbor” [Vayikra (Leviticus) 19:18], because a convert is also included as a member of Jewish people. G-d loves the convert, as it states in Devarim 10:18, “He loves the convert in giving him food and clothing.” And it states in Shemos (Exodus) 23:9, “You know the soul of the convert.” The meaning of the word “convert” in this statement means a person that came from another land or another city to live with us, and it certainly means a person that converted to Judaism.
This applies in all places and at all times, for men and for women.
4. Be kind to yourself. Speaking badly even about yourself is unethical.
