Longest Bracha

Sometimes we take things for granted, especially those things that happen every day. Our Sages wanted to make sure we did not always do this. Therefore, the longest bracha we say everyday is Yotzer Ha’Meoros, which we say after Pesukei D’Zimra and before Shema in the morning. In this bracha, we mention the sun and light and thank G-d for them. Our Sages did not want us to forget this so they instituted that this should be the longest bracha we say daily.
