In this week’s parsha, Eisav sells his bechora to Yaakov Avinu. When speaking to Eisav, Yaakov says “Sell today your bechora to me.” The Midrash HaGadol learns from the extra word “today” that nowadays, after Mattan Torah, one can no longer sells his bechora.
