Dvar Halacha On Parshat Shmini Apr 03 2015-5775

Shmini
When Aharon HaKohen’s sons pass away, the passuk tells us “Vayidom Aharon, Aharon was silent.” Chaza”l learn in Masechta Brachos from here that one who is in mourning should be as silent as possible. Chaza”l add further that the main reward one gets as a mourner is through his silence.
