Dvar Halacha On Parshat Pinchas 06 27 2013

When one passes away, the Torah prescribes the way that one’s belongings are inherited by his children. According to halachah, a son inherits the possessions before a daughter. The source of this is a passuk in Pashas Pinchas which states, “If he has no son, his inheritance is passed on to his daughter.”
