Dvar Halacha On Parashat Vayeira – October 20 2010

The Torah tells us in Parshas Vayeira that Avrohom woke up early in the morning in order to bring Yitzchok to the akeida. We learn from here that we must do mitzvos as early as possible in the day. This is the reason we make a bris milah after Shachris. (Some people make a bris later in the afternoon in order that more people can come, therefore fulfilling the principle, “with more people there is more glory to the King.”)
