Concentration during davening

One morning during Torah reading in the Yeshiva of Kelm, there was no Cohain, so the Gabbai called up a Yisrael in place of the Cohain. One of the students looked up at that moment and noticed a Cohain just walked in. The student screamed out to the Gabbai that a Cohain was now there. Afterwards, the Alter of Kelm went to this student and gently told him that during davening, a person should not be looking around the room. A person’s eyes should stay focused on his siddur so he does not lose concentration.
