The Kaddish which we recite numerous times during each prayer service was written in Aramaic. One of the reasons it was written this way is because the angels do not understand Aramaic; they only understand Hebrew. If the angels understood what we are saying in this prayer, they would become extremely jealous of us because of the beauty of this prayer.
