In Parshas Nasso we learn about the unfortunate episode of a Sotah, a woman who is alone with a man who her husband had previously warned her to stay away from. The Gemara in Masecheta Sotah days that the Parsha refers twice to her as “impure.” This comes to teach us that when a woman commits adultery, she is not only forbidden to the adulterer, but to her husband as well.
