The passuk in Parshas Mishpatim tells us that if an ox gores a human being, it is put to death. However, there is an exception for an ox that was taught to gore by its owners, as is the case with an ox that fights in bullfighting matches. The passuk says, “When an ox gores a person,” which comes to exclude an ox that is caused to gore by others.
