The Gemara in Chulin states that the special gifts that were given to the Kohanim by Klal Yisroel had to be eaten roasted with mustard (which was a very precious commodity in those days). The reason is from this week’s Parsha. The Torah tells us that Hashem gives the gifts to the Kohanim “l’mishcha,” meaning for greatness. Therefore, they must be eaten in the way that aristocrats eat their meals.
