In this week’s Parsha, Hashem tells Aharon that Moshe Rabbeinu will be “Elokim” for him, meaning a teacher or authority figure. The Midrash in Shmos Rabbah states that we learn from here that one’s awe of his Rebbi should be like his awe of Hashem. Even though Aharon was the older brother, and Moshe was required to give him kavod, this was outdone by ghe kavod Aharon had to give to Moshe Rabbeinu.
