If 95% of the world population does not eat kosher and in most cases, they live a long health life! Then why is it that only Jews are required and must eat only kosher food that are prescribed by HaShem in the Torah? In the book of Leviticus 11:3 – ויקרא יא:ג
it says that HaShem instructed Moses to tell the Jewish people, “You may only eat animals whose feet are not only partially cloven but completely split into at least two sub feet.”
Leviticus 11: כֹּל מַפְרֶסֶת פַּרְסָה וְשֹׁסַעַת שֶׁסַע
Why is that? It’s says in the Torah פרשת ראה – דברים יד א – בָּנִים אַתֶּם לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם
We are Hashem special and Chosen children, and therefore our sages tell us that Hahsem G-d has infused the us the Jewish people with a special Divine and Holy souls tailored to their Divine mission.
In order to maintain the health of these unique and special holy souls, the Jewish people are required to follow a very special strict and specific dietary laws of Kashrut.
Hashem tells us that there are only 10 kosher animals that we can eat from Each kosher animal must have two signs.
The first of the two signs are that a kosher animal must have a Split hoof!
The question is Why? Why must the feet of a kosher animal be split why do their feet must be “Cloven Feet” split right in the center?
Our Sages tell us that Our feet both touches the ground and separates us from the ground.
It therefore alludes to the notion that in our involvement with the physical world, we must remain separate from it, a sign to teach not to be hooked on dealings with materialistic things.
When our soul comes down to this earth it comes with a specific purpose a specific mission and one goal to accomplish and complete during our visit here on earth design especially for each and every soul.
HaShem with his great wisdom knew that there will be a lot of distraction and challenges for each and every one of us down here on earth. So in order to help us stay focused and complete our mission safely not to waist our short time here on earthly things HaShem gave us a book of instruction of how to live in His world. There for the split Hoof were design to remind us to separate ourselves from materialist things. When we eat none kosher food our mind because foggy and will not be able to stay focus.
