The Gemara in Brachos says that a person that says Ashrei three times a day receives a portion in the World to Come. The reason is because Ashrei has two great merits: it follows the Alef-Beis format and it contains the verse Pose’ach Es Yadecha, where we state that G-d provides for all. Therefore, Ashrei should be said with much concentration, especially the verse Pose’ach Es Yadecha.
