Blessing

When someone starts eating a meal of bread and did not have intention to continue the meal in a second location, the meal should only be eaten in the house in which it was started. There are some exceptions to this rule. If someone has to do a mitzvah, such as daven or run to a chasuna, you can leave without first making a brocha. Also, if one left the first house, and then realized, you can continue eating in the second place without a new brocha. If someone decides that they want to finish their meal in a different place, they should first “bentsch” and then start the new meal in the second location. (See Mishna Berura 178:34).
