Second Section – the Negative Commandments
CONTINUED FROM LAST WEEK
Therefore, every person who is called a Jew should take pity on himself and on all generations that come after him that they should not fall to this sin. He should strengthen himself to overcome his urge so he does not transgress this bitter sin so it will be good for him in this world and the World to Come.
From this law we see it is necessary that a man does not live with his wife in a city which does not have a kosher mikveh. Even if a person has children that are dependent on him and as far as he can see his business depends on him living in that city, he should not exchange a world that lives forever for a world that passes by quickly. It is certain within a matter of time after he lives in this place with his wife, he will stumble over this sin and receive spiritual excommunication, Heaven forbid. He should place his trust in G-d that He will not abandon him elsewhere.
